That's the plan, although I do switch off sometimes when I start running out of steam. I did the first 20 in one go before cleaning up Tank Battles, and then Jungle Fighting. The hope is to wrap up the 2nd Edition modules by the end of the year, then I will only be 1 ruleset behind ;)

Free new game! ... kinda! Long, long ago one free scenario was published as Daily Content. It required Eastern Front Deluxe and had German Heer units standing in for Spanish soldiers against the Soviet Union. Later on, a full Spanish expansion was released: Blue Division. For convenience's sake, PG-HQ included the single scenario as the 21st Blue Division scenario in the Library, though that wasn't really accurate. As part of our ongoing updates around here, we secured permission from AP to host the long lost Daily Content scenario PDF directly, so we've moved scenario 21 off of Blue Division and created a new game to hold it. If you own Blue Division you can use the real Spanish counters. If not, there is an alternate OOB using Heer units from Eastern Front Deluxe or Fire in the Steppe. |

You guys seem to have a placeholder date of Jan 06 for this one in the library. I believe the "release" date for that DC piece was July 14, 2006 FWIW.
Just finished playing this one in shared play on Vassal. When might this 1-scenario game be available for entering the battle record and AAR submission?
It looks to be as of the time of the original post? At least to me. "Spanish Blues" in the game library.

This one was a slog. So many really bad scenarios that never saw basic proofreading let alone balancing. Those Shanaurin's drive scenarios were the worst I have ever seen in the system. The Luchesa valley ones were pretty good though.
Not that anyone else digs up these dinosaurs to play quite like I do, but word from someone who just played through it, there are much better scenarios elsewhere.
Epitome of a sausage expansion.

Hi everyone, still tinkering under the hood. At various times today different parts of the site were broken, including play and AAR submission. I think the worst of that is now behind us. The good news is you should notice some significant reductions in page loading times, particularly on the previous worst offenders like Eastern Front Deluxe or scenarios with lots of AARs. Those used to take upwards of 30 seconds (!!!) to load and now are pretty zippy considering what all is being yanked from the database. Also, I'm finalizing implementation of the three series - PG, IA, MW - across the site. There are still a lot of links to scenarios and such that don't include the series prefix. If you visit a link without the "series=XX" tag you will be kicked to this generic page - Library. Don't worry, I'll have all of these tracked down and updated soon. Just want you to know what's going on if you click a link to a scenario, game, whatever and end up at the root Library doorway instead of where you thought you were going. Keep on gamin'! |

A minor bug I am seeing after these updates is that the Scenario Requirements & Playabiltiy box on the scenario pages no longer seems to be interacting with my collection, in such my 100% collection always shows as "unplayable" with all modules marked with a red X.
Clearly you are simply playing too much PG. It is time to stop. Let someone else have a turn! (fixed ;-))
Not sure what you meant by "soon" so if you havent cleaned these up yet disregard. I got to the generic library page by clicking the "return to that item" hyperlink following errata submission.
Well I'll have to find some new errata to post :) I'll let you know if it pops up again.
I just entered one for JF#24 and saw the same behavior. Clicking the return to that scenario hyperlink on the errata submission receipt? screen brings me back to the generic library instead of the scenario page.
It just so happened I was coding when you triggered the crash again and saw the error immediately. I found the bug and patched it. I successfully posted, checked, and deleted a test errata to that same scenario. I think I've finally gotten it straight.

Now that you mention it, the ### unplayed scenarios to go counter on the homepage seemed to drop by like 20 yesterday from the 700's to the 680's without a noticeable amount of new plays logged. Could be I was seeing an old cached number that finally updated, or something else. I've been poking enough holes in the site lately that I just shushed about it until you mentioned unexpected behavior :)
Good eye! The site data entry team had at some point inadvertently created 40 extra empty Deluge scenarios that I discovered and deleted while wandering around the site's virtual basement. :-)

Not that anyone actually cares, but it looks like I flubbed the date entry on one of the scenarios and actually completed this module on 6-23-21. Cant let all 0 of you who look at this think I played scenario 8 out of order :).
I dont think I can. I can only delete the play, delete the AAR, or convert it to shared from the modify a play screen near as I can tell. I could delete it and repost it, but this far after the fact, and with the ribbon already posted, I'll stick with where its at.
Hmm, you are entirely correct and that is not the intended behavior. I'll add it to my to-do list.
Which scenario needs a date change, and to what date? I'll fix it manually for you.
Well you certainly can't beat that level of service :). Looking back though, I can't seem to place exactly when it was played. I did leave errata on scenario 8 around the time that play was logged, so maybe I did actually sequence break and play that one last afterall... which seems very odd for me to have done but here we are.
So despite the big "uproar" I think I'll just trust my past self.
Fixing that edit play functionality would be appreciated though, when you can find the time.
