As we all know, Ireland didn't officially get rowdy during WW2, but they did have a pair of medals for the local defense forces. This ribbon comes from the Emergency Service Medal which was awarded to "members of the Permanent Defence Force, the Slua Muirí, the Fórsa Cosanta Áitiúil, Fórsa na nÓglach, 26th Infantry Battalion, the Army Nursing Service, and the Defence Forces Chaplaincy Service."

So this ribbon is the Finnish Winter War medal ribbon... which after I uploaded I realized is already in use for Arctic Front. Oops.

Until I or someone else thinks of a better design this is staying. It IS the same war after all. ;-) Email me if you've got a suggestion!

EDIT - new ribbon now. Thanks, Peter!

Funny, as I was going to suggest that same change, but couldn't find clean clipart to send to you :-)
