This was a good scenario to start as the Russians. We have played about 6 scenarios of the game and really enjoy the system. We played the scenario twice in essence seeing as we are still new to the system to work out and major disadvantages. First run through had the German armor and halftracks racing up the main road to try and force the crossing of the bridge and position in the town. Unfortunately he quickly realized coming in unsupported against the T-34 was folly and the lighter units were destroyed before the PzIVE could help neutralize the T-34s.

Second time through he was a little more careful at not initially crossing the river but did not effectively set up cross fire until there were too many casualties.

For the Germans to be effective they have to take time to bring up there ground units and spread the armor wide to set up the cross fire shots at long range. We will see if third time is the charm for the Germans
