First off, this is not a balanced scenario by any means. The Germans do have a shot at winning, but I didn’t get there this goround. The Soviets had much more OBA, as well as T-34/85s. The Germans had minimal OBA and a platoon of H-38s, a big mismatch. The Soviets pushed their armor forward on their left, avoiding the road. The Germans had set up their ATGs on each side of the road in the forest. The Soviet tanks, with no AT threat, worked to suppress some of the German positions while the infantry moved up. Once the infantry arrived, poor SS leadership, relentless OBA and infantry assaults had reduced and/or demoralized 2/3 of the German infantry by Turn 11. The rest was academic and a mopping up. Soviet win.
