The Soviets were dug in along the hill in mutually supporting positions. The Soviets took a major hit early when both of their mortar platoons were destroyed. The Germans and Italians advanced while their OBA works over one entrenchment at the end of the Soviet line. As they closed, the Germans/Italians were disrupted some by Soviet fire. The Germans were able to take one Soviet entrenchment, but were unable to gain any more ground. Soviet victory.
