The scenario started out good for the French, their lone engineer platoon demoed the bridge across the river but after that nothing went right for them the remainder of the scenario. Their 25mm ATG battery was in a good ambush position but did not get any hits in three activations before it was finally spotted and succumbed to German OBA. It did by time for two squadrons of French cavalry to dismount but they too failed to delay the Germans long enough, it really was a tough fight considering the GD infantry platoons have 6 DF vs 3 for the French cavalry. The GD lost some steps crossing the ford at first, but the GD had the numbers, OBA and Stug support.
