Austrian jaegers got to the target hilltop first, but it didn't take long for the Montenegrans to surround them and cut them up picemeal. Austrian crew first blood, but after an exchange of step losses, Austria lost the first leader, followed closely by Monenegro, but then things changed. By the end of turn 11, 1 surviving Austrian leader and 1 surviving Jaeger step were heading for the east and safety while the Montenegro infantry celebrated on the hilltop on Board 96. Short scenario, small order of battle, a good first game for this scenario book.
