Had this one set up for awhile but other things got in the way, so, I sat down to play it quickly to clear the table for something else.

The US set up in a perimeter at four hexes away from the bridgehead. The Germans set up on. The east and attacked the American right to try to break through along the river. The Americans pulled everybody in line and for a turn or two this was like a Civil War battle. The Germans broke the right flank of the American line and broke through, routing the US mortar platoon. Soon the Americans were surrounded and whittled down, by 1945 hours the US was down to a few steps and all but one demoralized or disrupted so they surrendered.
