The NKVD troops put up a good fight but were soon overwhelmed by sheer numbers and concentrated German OBA and mortar fire. It took the Gebirgsjager troops a little longer than they would have liked to eliminate the forward NKVD positions but once thru the initial crust of the Soviet defense they regrouped & moved on to clear the town and the rest of the north-south road. Good first scenario that was a lot closer due to stiff NKVD resistance and dice rolls.
