4th Ed rules made entry of a gully by a vehicle possible. However, the -20m location ruined the whole thing.
And you have to carefully read the 4th Ed Terrain charts notes to realize it.

Wadi definition in AK/DR: Similar to a Hill, but instead a depression or dried river bed, this terrain makes movement difficult and offers the
defender some defensive benefits.

So clearly not "ground level", but an "anti-hill" with these affects:
  • 2 MP for foot, motorized and mechanized prohibited. (More restrictive than the 4th edition.)
  • Units occupying Wadi hex may not be spotted by enemy units more than 3 hexes away. (That's actually worse than limiting terrain.)
  • -1 to direct fire against target in wadi from range of 2 or more hexes. (A lesser effect than the 4th edition.)
... More and more, people around the world are coming to realize that the world is flat! Winking

Ask the T-Rex to send you the latest set of draft house rules.

Sounds like a nice bunch of friends !
Dear T-Rex, could you send it to me ?
Will do. Please send me an email address in a PM.
