rookie questions
I am probably going to be a pest for a while - i have had a huge collection of PG (acquired second hand in 2017!) but only just started playing
also only just started playing Inf Attacks too
my first question relates to move to assault.
the rules kinda say move one unit at a time (not a stack) EXC =- attached leader.
is this also true for an assault move?
a stack of 2 units has to assault one at a time separately? or can a leader take both in?

this specifically came up with a cavalry charge - but i guess it applies equally to a 1 hex move

help? thoughts?

RE: rookie questions
Have you got the 4th edition rules, that might help a little. They are over on the Panzergrenadier page at Avalanche Press.

Technically units would move separately, the assault would be resolved after all units and leaders have entered the hex. Thus all attackers would combine their strengths. Moving separately would only be relevant in the case of a cavalry charge or extended assault, because opportunity fire would be possible in that situation.

RE: rookie questions
The one unit at a time "bit" comes up when there is the chance of "opportunity fire" (fired at one unit at a time) comes up. Otherwise, units can be moved in stacks. IF you are very particular about how the rules read and how to play them, by all means move one unit at a time. The "combo" move just saves time.
