PBEM Issues
A friend and I are playing through the 4th Edition demo game by email. This is the first time I have PBEMed PG and it works although a lot of files go back and forth.
We 've discovered some issues that although minor, could help with PBEM.
When I hit "clear markers" the markers on my units went away, but his marker did not. Also, I could not add a spotted marker to one of his units that fired from limited terrain. yes, it was his responsibility to do so, but people forget. There are times where it is convenient in PBEM play to manipulate the other side's counters... even simply drawing them to set up for play which right now one cannot do. I get it hat these are protections to prevent cheating. So, could there be an option added to allow manipulation of the other side's counter? Right now, we work around it by switching to solitaire.
In general, the little spotting binoculars are hard to see at certain zooms. Could we have the normal spotted counter be added to the game play markers for those of us who would rather use it? Or have another solution for "spotted?" May a flag on the left side of the column that does not go away when "clear markers" is punched?

Not really, more to prevent accidents, especially with assault stakes. My philosophy is that if I think cheating is an issue, I don't play with that person.

No, that would cover up too much of the piece. We experiment with a few options, this was the better overall solution.

... More and more, people around the world are coming to realize that the world is flat!
