To clarify----
When "he displaced" --means he rolled for capture, and failing that ( rolling <9) he displaces...meaning a 27.7% chance of dying...so you had it switched..

Peter, you're right---the officer would NOT be subject to Assault Free shot(I knew it sounded odd when I typed it...)
---just capture....

BUT---Would he be subject to Opp Fire?? when he displaces?
