So a German Lt. and an Inf unit are in an Assault and take 2 step losses.

1) The Inf has to take them both and is eliminated
2) The Lt. takes a 6.7 Leader Loss check with a -2 mod

Correct so far?

Do I now have to make a 6.7.1 roll as the Leader is on its own in a hex with enemy combat units? Or do I do that when it activates next?
Yes, after your first 2 steps, he checks for displacement.

Thanks
And then he needs to take an M2 check as well (if he survives)
I usually do the M2, leader loss and then leader displacement, but it's probably just a matter of preference.

I had that listed in the original post. I assume that you have to take the morale checks as they occurr so that it would happen after the step losses but before the 6.7.1 roll

I think that's right....I think the alone/displacement happens AFTER all the other rolls....
My question is related to this situation. If the leader(s) survive the attack that wipe out all of the friendly units, and are not affected by the M2 rolls or the elimination rolls (in this case I have 2 German leaders), are they displaced or captured?
Roll for displacement after everything else has settled.
It makes more sense to roll first for casualty, then displacement, then morale.  Resolve if dead or not before displacement, displacement before the morale makes senses as well.  You could potentially save yourself one or two rolls.  Just makes logical sense.
