Yeah I saw that in the email and then went to the site to order and that page said laser cut. I guess he email trumps the product page?

Yeah, the product page doesn't get updates so often it seems. As long as it works so you can hand over the money they are happy.

Latest word, Dawn and Ethiopia start shipping at the end of THIS month.
What he said was "pretty hopeful that..." Not exactly saying they would, but it does imply some sort of immanenence.
Time to plan a new purchase for the end of the month so there is something new to ship Dawn with, assuming that things do work out.
