I thought the initial copies of Burning Tigers were laser cut but the newest ones are die cut.

Isn't there an old, old pre-order for a Sino-Japanese game that's still out there? Or am I hallucinating?

I'm sure this isn't everything but the AVP ancient preorders include:

The second part of Infantry Attacks
King of Kings
Lappland
Ironclads
That Manchuria thingy
the remainder of 1866

That does NOT mean that you are not hallucinating...

I was thinking Lappland, too, and I figured that was a hallucination for sure.

I seem to recall a later post that they'd gotten the counters from the vendor and they were good, but can't find the post.

I assume that a more recent post:
http://talk.consimworld.com/WebX/.ee6fed8/25700 refers to die-cut counters but I'm not sure. If you ask the Avalanche Press forum on Consimworld you can probably find out from the horse's mouth.
