Played this in two session as the Germans vs. the learning MLapanzer in two VASSAL sessions.

The Germans set up giving up the town in 0507 but defending the rest teasing the French to come forward and fight. The French ventured out but the FCM36 light tanks were cautious so as not to blunder into one of the hidden ATGs. Their infantry moved forward using the woods on the their right but they got shot p and decided to go into the defense. The German reinforcements entered and the Bufla with 88mm Guns made the little French tanks scurry back into their main town. Their infantry halted in the east wood s and went into the defense. The Germans attacked the infantry while keeping the tanks at bay with long range fires from the Bufla. The German Pioneers whittled down the French infantry with firepower and assaults and soon the point count was enough for a German win, the French threw in the towel.

I found this one to be an interesting situation. But the French have to risk casualties and go ion the attack with gusto and gain at least two of the forward towns and cause some casualties to have a chance. Once the German main force arrives, their high morale and firepower should carry the day.
