Somewhat evenly matched battle, the Pols have a slight edge in infantry, mortars, air support and initiative but both sides have FT17 tanks, tankette’s and 37mm ATGs. Fighting initially was around the east-west road as the Lithuanians were trying to get as many units south of the road, which as a VC for the Pols. Once things started to unravel the Wolves retreated to the town in a last-ditch effort to snatch victory from the Polish forces.
