This is sort of an adaptation musing, that sort of became a Vassal game package musing, that became a "taking matter in our own hands" kind of thought.
Panzer Lehr 2 requires pieces from
Beyond Normandy, which went out of print, perhaps shortly after Panzer Lehr 2 was released.
The thought becomes how many owners of Panzer Lehr 2 don't have Beyond Normandy? How many of those do have Liberation 1944? With the exception of 2 scenarios requiring armoured cars (1
Daimler & 1
Stag), which are not in Beyond Normandy anyway, Liberation 1944 is a perfect drop in replacement.
So, the the component requirements, Panzer Lehr 2 at least, be changed from Beyond Normandy to Liberation 1944? (I am sure you DIY'ers have already mad your armoured cars.)
Would the Vassal players rather have Liberation 1944 leaders and aircraft in the game package, instead of the Beyond Normandy leaders and aircraft?
