The New PG book
I've got mine ordered already. Can't talk about what it is till its officially announced, but OUTSTANDING cover painting, great vehicles, a campaign game + 20 scenarios, and its something Jay will like, but not what he's been waiting for for years.

I don't really get into hypothetical scenarios. For PG or any other games out there. Except for SciFi stuff for some reason. Can't explain it.

Maybe because there are so many historical scenarios available I'll never be in "need" of hypothetical ones to fill the urge.

Throw in the other same topic books and counters, add a utility counter sheet (I recently bought several from Dr. B) and you've got the equivalent of a large boxed PG game. Just draw the maps from your other setsSmile

What makes this particular theme work is it uses equipment and weapon systems that were in production at the end of the war, making it far less conjectural than other topics.

RE: The New PG book
Boxed sets come with one large sheet with markers for move/fired, entrenchment, etc. That's what I was calling the utility sheet of counters.

Now when I draw from counters from the more Bulges accessory set and Kevin's Road to Berlin which I bought, I should have a 800+ boxed set of scenarios for the Aftermath War, as I call the 1948-50 PanzerGrenadier theme.

The cover of the new PG book is indeed gorgeous.

I will purchase it but after I acquire Cassino and Infantry Attack, the two highest item on my Most Wanted list.

Iron Curtain: Patton's Nightmare... now on AP's site...

I guess this is what would have happened if Patton had kept going east... as opposed to Iron Curtain, which assumes that Germany & USSR keep fighting, right?
