Movement differences of Japanese HMGs
One thing I have always been curious about, is why does the Japanese Army HMG have a movement of 3 but the Japanese SNLF HMG have a movement of 2?

As far as the Moroccan/French HMGs are concerned, it is an error : all of them should have 1 MP.

In the first 2 countersets with Japanese, Guadalcanal and Nihon Silk, SNLF HMG's have a movement of 3. The movement difference doesn't appear until Saipan 1944 and turns up again in Leyte 1944. You should ask the designer and see what was intended. Huh
... More and more, people around the world are coming to realize that the world is flat! Winking

The Japanese probably need the 3-movement factor advantage for all their HMGs, I just don't know how the SNLF version 2 factor slipped in there? So, this designer doesn't know!  Dodgy

Looking at the Japanese TOEs, the SNLF had about 7 men per gun and the army at 11 men per gun.  Maybe they move faster because they can distribute the ammo better?   I could not find what each platoon had.  That might make a difference too.

Hmm, maybe the Moroccan HMG units came with donkeys to help move those heavy machine guns and ammo?

The Belgians in WWI, used dogs to carry theirs.
