A bit embarrassing of me but...

Can a Unit ,in a Assault Hex activate without a leader? And continue to assault?

I never had this problem before... till tonight. I think I'm battle Fatigued. I always overthink it. It wld seek to me that it wld need a leader. It wld be a fire action so u need a leader for that? Correct . Not rhetorical.

There will be many more silly questions In future.

I would say, yes.

A unit is an assault hex may always fire in defense, and may activate to assault if already in an assault hex without benefit of a leader.

The answer is yes. A unit in an assault hex can do everything normally. That is assault, rally, exit the hex and dig in. What it cannot do is call in other units into the hex.

Was a loooong day at work lol. They Assaulted this morning HMG unit .....which i have another question wld they be 1/2 firepower or not they were on the attack but were already in Assault hex. Does that make sense ?


If u want to know the result of Assault fire for HMG - no effect lol

I think you misread the rule. The HMG would be half strength if they are conducting the assault without an infantry type unit. If they are defending in an assault, they are full strength. Since it looks like the HMG is being assaulted by your opponent (or other side of your brain), they would fire at full strength.

Never too late to try online shared play. There are then two of you to consider rules interpretations as you play together. I highly recommend it to help learn how to play this fiddly game.
