Problem seeing map

Hey there. I am having a problem with Vassal. When I start the module, there is no way to see the map. Usually the chat window is too large and you need to resize it when this happens, but in the screenshot attached you can see that there is no way to resize the chat window. I definately have the maps entered because when I use the "map" button it shows the correct ones. I have never seen this before with Vassal, and I opened a few other modules, like from OCS and F&E to make sure they were working and they are. Does anyone know what might be happening here?
