AFVs combining DF

[cjsiam]

We see NO circumstance where even a Leader with Modifier (Infantry leader....) can help with "Combat modification" (allowing combined fire)
for the Panzers.....
6.82 Tank Leaders - Limitations  indicates that TL may not Modify Combat.....and in the rules the thing that allows hexes to combine
fire is a "Combat Modifier"....

Well, there is one way, but it takes a bit of planning and coordination. In the first hex, which starts the activation change, a regular leader with a combat modifier and a tank leader are required. In the hex to be combined requires a unit the regular leader can activate and combine fire with, and an AFV which can (obviously) combine fire with that unit. Under rule 7.33, units of in the same hex having the same fire type may always combine their fire strengths. So the leader in the first hex activates units in his hex and the adjacent hex, the tank leader activates and activates the AFV in the adjacent hex. The AFV's combine fire with the other units in their hexes. The other units combine fire by the leader modifier. Only way I know to combine fire of AFV's in adjacent hexes.

I think we had this discussion before.

Can someone tell me what to type in the Search bar to find this "before" discussions?
I've tried "AFV combine DF" "AFV combining" "AFV DF".....suggestions?
