Good suggestion! There could be a sequel to Sinister Forces, featuring French, Greek, Italian, Phillipino and Chinese partisans. I'm not sure how many large French PG scale engagements took place, but including the Pacific Theatre and the Greek civil war era, there's plenty of engagements available.

The French partisans were more strategic, gathering info, sabotage and assassinations rather than tactical like the Soviets. If you are looking for a good game with those go over the the Combat Commander series with the Resistance module. This does a wonderful job with the French as well as Greeks and Yugoslavs.
