Keep in mind that stacking 3 combat units in a hex makes them more vulnerable to Direct Fire and Bombardment Fire. The extra firepower the third unit brings is nice but it comes at a risk.

Not least of which is the threat of an aneurysm brought on by rolling 7's having taken such trouble to create aforementioned stacks.
