Another thought. I noticed you said we, does that mean you are doing a shared game online? If so, make sure you both have the same versions of the extensions. There are 2 versions of the Czech OOB-Ldr-Air extension.

I think that you will enjoy this news flash and suggestion.

I just played PIOT-2 Vienna Panzers over 5-sessions with the dreaded T-Rex -- and was able to get a very costly draw -- as the German commander! Imagine that, no outright defeat, in a tank-heavy, shoot 'em up with the armor king, himself!

We noted no trouble with the Czech or German leaders using Uber 4.3 and Vassal 3.7.18. Maybe there is a Vassal module mismatch if you are in shared play. But, you seem to mostly play in SOLO mode, so I would delete all the Peace in Our Time Vassal files, give your computer an hour's rest, and then reload Peter's game pack to see if the problem resolves.

Tried that too. Looks like I'm destined to do PIOT the old fashioned way.... on a table.) ...and that's not an easy task when my hands are wracked  with arthurites. (It takes me forever to type an AAR.)

Rundown on what has been tried or verified so far.

• Cleared tile cache.
  
• Cleared extensions directory and copied PioT files back into it.
  
• Verified you and your opponent are using v1.1 of the Czech extension.
  

I am assuming:

• You and your opponent are using Vassal v3.7.8 or higher.
  
• Your opponent isn't trying to load 2 version of the Czech extension.
  

Have you tried starting a new game with the Czech extension offline? Are you using a Mac?

This is going back aways, but I recall helping Gunny Don setup his Vassal files and we encountered a problem with downloads of the PG-HQ Vassal data files.

If I am remembering correctly, the issue was that Don's PC would create extra copies of the individual extensions, like for example: the Czech leaders, thereby confusing the Uber program's mapping. We had to go back and delete the extra copies before Don was able to map the place on his PC hard drive for the Uber program to find the correct module extension file.

Perhaps this problem has resurfaced when the files are downloaded from of the PG-HQ zipped game pack and into Don's downloads folder?
