Britain's bulge

Hi, I am reading through Britain's bulge and came across a probable erratum. In the random events table number 11, you need roll a die to see who gets an extra leader, but both results are the same. Is Philippe around? Oh and can you put that leader anywhere on the table or what? Many thanks.

Yep, you can just add a single British leader anywhere you wish -- presumably to join any British combat formation.

OR, just ignore the optional Random Events table, like most of us do.

The original event is : “Add one leader to the German player. It must be picked at random among those available.”

It seems the event has been changed in the final edition. The leader may be added anywhere on the board.

Hi Philippe, great to hear from you. Your answer is not what I expected but it will be applied. Btw I love the expansion,some great scenario's in a small package. We once met some 13 years ago in Antwerpen at the crisis convention. At that moment you were working at a belgian package as well, we are still waiting and hoping ?. Many thanks for answering. Hi Peter !! Of course, I remember our conversation ! Nice to read you again. In between, Avalanche Press asked me to design several other game packages and I’ve been quite busy… Nevertheless, the Belgian PG module was delivered years and years ago. 42 scenarios in total with Eben Emael action, of course, but also all the Belgian cavalry (mech) odyssey, chasseurs ardennais (of course) and less known combats in Deinze, Roselaere, Zonnebeek, Zelzaete, Knesselaere, etc.
I think the whole thing is too much from a commercial point of view. I’ll have to rewrite and downscale it in order to allow publication.

Hi Philippe, I can't contain myself, how would you have depicted a typical belgian infantry unit, and a chasseur ardennais? Just dying to know, sorry ;-)

The Belgian infantry platoon was rather large (Polish alike) and well armed.

Hi Philippe, I totally agree, last Friday, we were discussing if it would be a 4 - 3, or a 5 - 3, we were bang on the money. We even agree on the Chasseurs colors as the counter background color. Simply wonderful. Many thanks, Peter
