Japanese Armor - JayTownsend - 12-08-2025

Japanese Armor is going to be a fun addition to PG. 18 historical scenarios by me on Luzon 1945 tank engagements and Mike added 4 or more scenarios on Japanese armor that never left Japanese but were better tanks in some what if scenarios. I know Japanese Armor went many names: Death of the 2nd Tank Division, The Emperor's Tanks and a few others, but it is closer to release now and should show a lot of interest.

Maybe after some of the long outstanding games long promised?

Ok...ok...it's a pipedream...

"To dream the impossible dream..."

I am just as frustrated but Mike said this one is close at hand.

Define "...close at hand." Just curious.

According to the last news letter:

Assembly and shipping begins as soon as The Emperor’s Sword and friends are off our assembly tables and on to your game tables.

That's cool, Jay, but I'm very cynical about Avalanche's use of the term "soon."

We will have to wait and see!?

Thanks Jay!

A very fine video of a pristine, camouflaged painted, Shinhoto Chi-Ha, being loaded onto a HET.

I think that this tank was officially referred to as: the Type 97-kai by the IJA.

On an unrelated note, do you have any idea when we might see the Brazilian Expeditionary Force in WWII action?

I wish I knew that as well. AP seems to drag everything out forever!
