Austrian Leaders ? - Grognard Gunny - 09-09-2025
While I was plugging through some of my "unplayed" scenario books, I happened to run across "Tank Battles" which incorporates a nice set of "counters" on the back of the book (which, of course I will copy rather than "tear up" my copy of the book!) but, alas, there were no leaders in the "set". Did I miss something, or what ?????

It's an "or what". Specifically somebody couldn't spell. GSR (sub-GSR?) number 3 says, "Use Austrian leaders from Afrika Korps." I am sure he meant Australian.
If you have Hopeless But Not Serious, I suggest using those leaders.
P.S. I found an old DIY sheet of Austrian leaders, but it looks terrible. Give me a day or 2, and I can make it something presentable.

Actually, it didn't take so long. Austrian Leaders were introduced in a Daily Content article titled A Bucket of Nothing. I don't know when it was posted, but my file was created in 2007.

I made some Hitler and Schuschnigg counters for Austrian scenario 3. The counters for the Tank Battles version are a little more garish the Hopeless But Not Serious version. I am sure they will reappear in Darkness Falls.
