Black September - dirk - 06-26-2025 I’m looking forward to Black September. I still have the laser cut with the PLA counters. Looking forward to using them with this supplement. I hope there’s a download with the PLA counters for the supplement. if not, plloyd1010, could you make a counter set, please. RE: Black September - plloyd1010 - 06-26-2025 Funny you should mention that. Several months ago I was working on an expanded PLA counterset, with some input from Dr. Mike. It was to have the PLA eagle, not the Egyptian one they were printed with. The base color was to be some sort of olive green, like PLA uniforms were, but never agreed on what that actually was. The counterset was to have enough diversity to cover the 20th PLA division scenarios, and counters for the PLA brigades operating out of Syria and Jordan. Here is the manifest of the project: 9x Leaders 27x INF 2x RCN 4x ENG 4x HMG 4x 82mm 4x 57mm AA 3x 85mm AT 4x 25pdr 6x Sherman 4x T34/85 5x BTR152/Truck Then I got distracted. At present they look like this: RE: Black September - Miguelibal - 06-28-2025 Now, if we could just get rid of the counter clutter, like the unecessary shadows on the Vassal version of the PG counters, they would be much easier to see and use - especially for those of us that are "of an age." Also, wish that we could see a lighter background color for the Czech units, or maybe, outline the numbers and illustrations (without the dark shadows) with a lighter color. As is, they are almost impossible to see. |
