I too had a fine time in the field today with my Aussies and Brits harassing Tenente Hughessolini's Italians near the gates of Tobruk. Not so much slaughtering but a good job of frustrating the Italian commander and scattering most of his units from the first line of defense. AND I believe it was my first shared match in this desert war campaign where I have so far, after 7 turns of 30, have not taken a single step loss yet *knocks on tin-pot helmet* ... just thought I would toot my own horn again Big Grin

Yuk ! A horrible session for me .. men running, Allied troops leaking in all over the place. My only saving grace being that over the 7 turns I only lost 1 step ..... but the losses will come to me, the losses will COME Sad

Priceless! Big Grin
The promotion class will forever be remembered as the April's Fools. Wives everywhere agree.

It's kind of funny that I achieved my commission's with a scenario Vince listed in his The Struggle For A Commission thread.

I knew we were in it together fella ! Undecided
Oddly enough, earlier in March Daniel and I played one that put me over the top as well.

Oh, it was an Infantry Attacks scenario then ?
Well, it did involve cavalry...

We played two White Eagles scenarios in one day and it runs in my mind the one that put me at the next rank involved German and Polish cavalry fighting each other So very, very WW I...
Drawn Sabers, the first scenario we played that day, is indeed the scenario that put you at the next rank, Matt.
Thanks, Daniel. They start to run together...
