Thanks Robin! Smile
As Marty Feldman used to say, damn my 62 year old eyes. Makes sense anyway, I was wondering how Heroes and Airborne could both be out so quickly with a March 2001 start point..:-).
Well im a total recruit. Seen pg here in oz for 12 years never played it. I bought the new panzerblitz thought this isnt right and went to my flgs bought rob, ef and dr. Thought about monte cassino but its 160 bucks....
Welcome aboard Skippy. PG is Panzerblitz done right. You've got your geometric board scenarios, you've got scenarios on historical maps (Cassino and Beyond Normandy),you've got modifiable map scenarios (Afrika Korps and Desert Rats) you've got role-playing campaign scenarios, and you have design your own scenarios available in half a dozen of the games and expansions. There's no bad time to be just beginning for this system :-}
Avalanche Press has its Black November sale going at the moment (30% off using the coupon THERESA). The only twist is you would have to buy a minimum of $100 (original price) so you have to pick up one more item. Maybe one of the digital supplement (March on Leningrad is a good one and cost only $5.99 before the discount).
Speaking of that November sale, are they running behind on shipping? I placed an order a little over a week ago for in stock items and havent had an email or anything since then. Every other sale i have purchased from has been quick.
