Hello,
Have finally broken out some of my PzG games to start playing again.  Have been a collector mostly over the past couple of decades and now want to get these games to the table (or maybe eventually via online play).     So, I broke out the Airborne - IE boxed game and looked up the errata listed on this site under that game's listing.   Unfortunately, the listed errata make me scratch my head.   My complete game doesn't have most of the game units that are supposedly needing corrections on.   For instance, my set only has one GER 105mm (and it is number #1201 and has the correct fire values on it).   Also, I have no GER Sergent #1614 (I have two #1601 and #1602 that seem to have reasonable morale and combat modifiers ... NONE with the 8 listed as needing corrected).   Finally, I have no SPW 251's in my counter set.

So, should I ASSUME that I have a corrected set of counters and that the errata were from an earlier version with messed up counters?

Finally, should I change the GER HMG reduced fire values to 5-5 (as mine DO have the 4-5 listings for the reduced side of the counters).

Thoughts?   Advice?

Thanks in advance for any illumination on this stuff.
Unfortunately, counter errata notations have usually been assigned to the counter, not to the game where they occurred.  So, for example, the German Heer Sergeant had mistaken combat and morale modifiers in one of the old (long out of print) games.  The erratum shows up every time a scenario includes a German Heer Sergeant.

If you're unsure, the best thing to do is compare the numbers on the piece to the numbers on the counter's page in the library.

As far as the GER HMG, I usually go with the 5-5, as it's standard in the newer games.
Thanks!   Very helpful.   Now I understand why there could have been differences in my set of counters vs. the list of "counter errata" listed on this site under that game.

Hard-working & able, volunteer, Peter Lloyd, has sorted out the counter errata in digital format for online play in Vassal using the Uber system.

This really helps in older PG games like: Afrika Korps, Panzer Grenadier, Blue Division, Airborne, Conquest of Ethiopia and Desert Rats, etc.
