Does double Jeopardy only apply to leaders riding on top of AFV’s?
Does double jeopardy apply in an opportunity fire situation where a leader is traveling with a personal unit? Say just infantry or heavy machine gun etc...?
I'm not sure I understand the 1st question. Leaders do not ride on AFVs, except by game special rules, like in Road to Berlin. This is because leaders only ride with units they can activate.

On the 2nd point, they would be subject to morale checks when units they are moving with take morale checks or lose steps. They would also be subject to a leader loss check, if the unit they are moving with ltakes step losses.
I would like to say thank you for letting me tap the knowledge banks. Smile
In 4th Ed. Rules
6.7 leader casualties in the 2nd paragraph it talks about “double jeopardy”
I don’t understand how it applies.
So there are transport units that can take a 2 step loss besides AFV? If the answer is yes I will do the research and figure out the identity of those units.

The 2nd?
If a leader is traveling with an infantry unit and by opportunity fire the infantry becomes disrupted does the leader automatically become disrupted? And then is he forced to check his own morale again and potentially become demoralized due to double Jeopardy rules?

I’m sure I’m missing something that is very trivial.
I thank you for your patience and knowledge.

No The leader and unit make separate morale checks, leader first. The leader does not take on the unit's morale state.

Tank riders are in game special rules (Elsenborn Ridge and Liberation 1944 at this point) and the 4th Edition optional rules: part 1 and part 2.
Thank you
When would double jeopardy apply?
There is no double jeopardy.
4th edition rules (6.7) at the end of the 2nd paragraph talks about double jeopardy.
Perhaps you should detail the process by which you are getting to the double jeopardy conclusion.
The leader loss check is the double jeopardy?
after step losses and morale checks have been made?
