There is a lot less traffic on here lately.  I am thinking that the initial burst caused by the shelter-in-place has petered out.  With that, I am hoping to regenerate some discussion with a few hopefully interesting posts.    So anyone else excited about updates to several older modules?  I actually bought all four (two just the books).

Really enjoying scenario one of the first edition of Iron Wolves.   I thought it would be an easy German victory, but fun, based the 2012 Review.  I am at the start of turn 14 or 24, and the Lithuanian's are conducting a defense in depth.  The Lithuanian's luck has been incredible - great leader selection, almost supernatural rolls for direct fire, assaults, morale and recovery checks.  Between this and a few early Fog of War rolls, the Germans have been struggling. The inability, due to a special rule, to conduct combat moves on the same action segment, caused a vicious fight at both bridgeheads. It is only in the last two turns that the eastern bridgehead has been opened and the first town has been maneuvered on.  Right now, it is still anyone's game.  Lots of German step losses, including three of tanks.

I am hoping for much improved version of this very fun scenario, or well crafted scenarios like this, in the next edition.
Yes! I have all the preorder stuff ordered because it opens previously issued stuff up to unplayed status in our library.

For me, the overall decision depends on sniping and points of the scenario in question. Competition is fun. Most of the older stuff has been reduced in points awarded so the recycling and adding scenarios to the mix opens new opportunities for new players.
Personally for me, I’m going for the Mythic stuff because I have them in my collection. But I want to play every game and scenario eventually. Indeed, Iron Wolves is of interest to me.
