In the July 2010 edition of Workers and Peasants: The Red Army At War - 1941 (I happened to have a copy with the upside-down and backwards cover), there is mention of Eastern Front Deluxe in several of the scenarios, which specifically limit Soviet Leaders, Pieces and/or Boards to EF Deluxe, sometimes with Leaders found in W&P. Were the Leaders and Pieces different in the boxed Eastern Front with a tank on the cover compared to the slipcover EF with cavalry on the cover? Is the latter EF Deluxe (and should this be Supplement Errata)?

I know of the Artic [sic] Front Deluxe supplement noted in AGC Scenario 1

Army Group Center:
Scenario 1 - Leaders from EF Deluxe
Scenario 2 - Leaders from EF Deluxe
Scenario 5 - Pieces from EF Deluxe
Scenario 6 - Boards and Pieces from EF Deluxe

Army Group South, :
Scenario 1 - Leaders from EF Deluxe

Thank you
If your box says Eastern Front, you have Eastern Front Deluxe. The only difference between the tank cover and the cavalry cover being the box itself.

EFD included the majority of the content of the original "Panzer Grenadier", which was semi officially referred to as "Eastern Front" once the series became a series, hence the name.
