Since on the APL page we read that GD'44 is "upcoming," I thought to check my game order records. Here we go: Sat Jan 21 [ ...] 2017 .
To put that into perspective, TheDoctor at that time was an MS-3 in Army ROTC; he is now XO of a tank company (1LT).
MI just received Grossdeutschland 1944. A straightforward supplement of 20 scenarios set in Romania 1944. Most scenarios (3/4) are about the Soviet offensive in August 1944. While one part looks at the attacks against the 3rd SS Deaths Head Division. Good looking supplement.
I will second that emotion. I played The Lion's in Town with the new GD counters and the game board looked awesome. My next step is one from the scenario book! Looks good, I have to say.
Might I ask if these GD division counters would work for Burning Tigers as well?

A board with the supplement? I must have lost something in translation. Assuming there’s no board, I am going to wait to play it so that I can catch some PG-HQ points If I can’t be part of the game group , I can wage a campaign of Evil!!! Bwahaaa! (OK, maybe Ivey gone too far here.

I haven't gotten my GD 44 yet waiting for shipment for free one with Royal Marines, but I do have the GD 43 counter set (thick laser) I would say yes to be able to use the GD 44 counters for Burning Tigers. I do have one question the HMG units for GD 44 are they 10-5 direct fire as in Fall of France or 9-5 direct fire which they are in GD-43?
Quick answer, the GD44 HMGs are 10-5s.
Being a little peevish about such things, the Grossdeutchland Division does not appear in the Grossdeutchland 1944 scenario book.The counters are nice and could certainly be used in other games where the GD division is present, but where would you use them here?

Bottom line: Are we gonna see GD 44 in our scenario library?

If it exists, we aim to have it.
A released game that's not in the Library typically means that none of our Library helpers own a copy yet. We all buy our games with our own lawnmowing allowances, no freebies from AP here.
I'm waiting on mine. Will work on entering it when it arrives.
