It's neat to see this is becoming available again.
Does anybody know if AP updates counters on reprints with things like the Step Loss line?
(My "Counter OCD" would love all counters in my collection to have the line present)
Not so far. South Flank & Elsenborn didn't get stripes. You might also notice that the stripes end up in inappropriate places, like the backs of single-step counters.

Hmm interesting. I just got both Elsenborn and South Flank within the past month and my Elsenborn doesn't have them but my South Flank DOES!
(I'm not stressing about Elsenborn because I figure American D-Day and Ardennes 1944 will have new/updated ones)
