Golden Journal Volume 27, Sherman Tanks, is shipping! Pre-ordered by me on 31 January 2019, shipped 28 March 2019. I will post details once received.
I got my ship notice yesterday.
I received the Sherman Tanks Golden Journal #27, La Campagne de Tunisie and some die-cut Marianas counters tonight. Great stuff and just what I was wanting.

Mike did a really good job writing the Sherman Tanks book.
Wasn't there a "massive" armor scenario the first time? I vaguely remember a post about it. Does anyone have a copy of that GJ?
I’ll have to checkout the differences in the two when I get home. The new one only has one scenario but I wouldn’t it a massive armor scenario but I can’t recall the first release of this supplement.
Got home late tonight but here is a quick summary. Golden Journal No. 27 comes in a ziplock bag, has a cardstock cover the same consistency as the maps, 16 pages, 5 articles, 1 scenario, and current-style 24 counters.

Four of the five articles appear to be from daily content, but an old wargamer like me likes things in print. The five articles are:

- Belton’s Bane;
- The Sherman Tank;
- Marine Shermans;
- Sherman Models (new article?); and
- Before the Sherman: The American M3 Lee/Grant.

The one scenario is for Elsenborn Ridge and titled ‘In the Mood’ since it features Sgt. Lafayette Pool’s Sherman tank (plus Spearhead Division friends) against the German 12th Infantry Division and 9th Panzer Division.

US: 24 units, 5 leaders.
German: 23 units, 7 leaders. Includes Hetzers, so I love it!
Maps: 22 and 24 from Elsenborn Ridge.

The 24 counters have a Sherman armor rating of 4 instead of 3. I did not notice any other differences. Counters include:

- 12 x base Shermans in Army OD;
- 6 x M4/76 in Army OD;
- 2 x M4/105 in Army OD;
- 2 x base Shermans in USMC green; and
- 2 x M4/76 in USMC green (must be for use in Korean War scenarios).

My only disappointment is no Sherman Jumbo platoons.

I like it. A very nice booklet for an awesome price of ... FREE!

Why would you expect there to Jumbos? They are already up armored.

I wanted mine to be a 5!
If the scenarios are different from the original GC Journal It would be worth my ordering.
The Original Set - Moon Day 2017 - has Green paper and a set of 24 laser cut counters - and 1 scenario - "In The Mood".

The New Set - Golden Journal # 27 Sherman Tanks - has a 16 page book with color cover - the same 24 counters NOT Laser Cut - and the same scenario - "In The Mood".
