Same question, do you guys think the Falklands War 1982 would make a good new PG Modern War game?
The would be a small game sort of like WotE.

In conjunction with that, I've also thought the spat between Peru and Ecuador in 1989 would make a good tie to WotE. They also had a 1905 fight. Peru-Ecuador match-ups could cover all 3 genres.
Agreed, though you might be able to box it with several other small conflicts like Grenada or Panama.
I bought Heroes of The Falklands from the Lock 'N Load Tactical System to both get a game on this subject and tryout this system. Though I bought about 7 months ago, I haven't had time to read the rules and play it yet but it is something to look forward to and it has 13 scenarios.
Interesting idea Jay, having been stationed on the Falklands Islands I do not think there are many current maps which could convey the terrain very well. Although the Brits won every land battle that they fought in the campaign apart from the initial invasion,  the whole campaign was on a knife edge and the loss of the supply ship "Atlantic Conveyor" was a big blow. Not sure PG could do justice to this war.
Yeah Wayne you are probably right about it not working with PG scale but I bet I could make it work if I wanted to. The Lock ‘N Load version looks very nice but I do recommend you buy the larger X maps or whatever they are called. But overall a very cool looking game. Since you were stationed there, I would be very interested in your prospective in this game if you ever get it.
