Where can I get the Vassal download for Elsenborn Ridge?
I suggest who want, or already have, PG Vassal modules start making noise over on
ConSim. The big trick here is getting Dr. Mike to see value in have online modules for his games. When he does, we all benefit. I haven't seen your query over there yet Kai.

The larger picture here is that Dr. Mike is very pensive about online modules. He needs to see there is a definite interest in them, and how that would help game sales. ASL (where Vassal actually started) and the A&A series have benefited tremendously from online play. APL needs to see it help sell their boxes. Josh, that means you should get your story over there too.
All those, I bought becauses, or would have bought ifs, need to be posted over there.

All he would need to do is look at the competition and their success. As an example, LnLT has over 4,000 forum subscribers and presumably decent sales with all their products available on Vassal and some on TTS. So, we have a game system that has nowhere near the amazing site we have here for interaction, and clearly lacks the breadth and variety of PG, yet it survives quite well. Dr. Mike needs to realize that there are so many games out there, which makes it tough to develop a local critical mass for frequent plays. Online availability creates a much expanded community allowing for worldwide game play. I'm not sure if penury or greed cause this restrictive distribution, but imho it's penny-wise and pound-foolish.
