I like the:

*Cassino maps
*Guadalcanal maps
*Maps by Guy Riessen, which Include: Elsenborn Ridge, France 1940, Kokoda Trail & Kursk South Flank.
*Everything else, Desert maps, East Front, Airborn and so on..............

I am still drawn to Guadalcanal as my favorite followed closely to Cassino.

But I realize these are only good for historical one battle actions, so it's better to get more generic maps from Guy Riessen, to support the add-on supplements and counters.

My favorite is the FoF maps. In most maps, cities are blobs (the city on EFD #2 is particularly bad), but on FoF, the cities seem much more real. They follow the roads, they are non-symmetrical, etc. While I admire the Cassino maps, that's a special case and only really work if you're modeling a specific battle site.
