News - update!
Over the last three months or so, I have been shoring up, updating or improving all 6 of my yet to be published PG designs from over the last 4 years or more. I am very pleased that I had the opportunity to improve and update all of them. They will all be better products now. Five are boxed games and one is a supplement.
All are in various stages but all have now been submitted to Avalanche Press, in their newest, updated form. Counter-Attack is getting much closer now.
The List:
* Korean War: Counter-Attack - Boxed Game
* Korean War: Intervention - Boxed Game
* Korean War: Allies - Supplement
* Philippines 1941-42 - Boxed Game
* Philippines 1944-45 - Luzon 1945 Boxed Game & Leyte 1944 Supplement
* The Battle of Sicily 1943: (The American Sector) - Boxed Game
* The Greco-Italian War 1940-41 - Boxed Game
I am not sure the game titles will stay the same or not, that depends on AP/Mike. Below is how they look after the design stage:
Counter-Attack has 65 scenarios, 4 maps and 352 counters, not counting markers.
Intervention has 67 scenarios, 4 maps and 352 counters, not counting markers.
Allies has 25 scenarios and 88 counters.
Philippines 1941-42 has 77 scenarios, 5 maps and 352 counters not counting markers.
Philippines 1944-45 is now divided into two products, as it is just too big:
Philippines Luzon 1945 - Boxed Game and Philippines Leyte 1944 - Supplement
Philippines 1944-45 has 107 scenarios, 6 maps and 352 counters not counting markers.
Now broken down into a Luzon 57 scenarios plus the 2 introduction scenarios for a total of 59 scenarios as a boxed game and the Leyte supplement book of 48 scenarios.
The Battle of Sicily 1943 (The American Sector) has 45 scenarios, 6 maps and 352 counters not counting markers.
The Greco-Italian War 1940-1941: 40 scenarios, 352 counters, and 4 maps.
I thought you guys might be interested in the above update. I spent a ton of hours over the last four years to make these good products from a designer standpoint and AP has some really good developers, so I know these products will turn out excellent.
Well anyway, I am excited about all this. Hopefully I don't get into too much trouble for sharing too much but I am just trying to stir up some new PG excitement and I think the titles I designed will hopefully interest gamers, as many never get enough attention in platoon and tactical level gaming. Historically I found designing them very interesting. They will add a lot of new situations, scenarios, unit/counter types and nationalities to the PG mix. Now to let AP catch up!!!!!!!!!!
