Grossdeutschland '43 link dead
As of 1321 EDT, APL's link to a scenario for GD'43 is "dead." As I am still (!) banned on the CSW support forum for APL, perhaps someone here with more immediate lines of communication can let APL know? Link: http://www.avalanchepress.com/GDScenario1.php

I whispered in Mike's ear and it's fixed. Instructions for integrating GD'43 into the two Kursk games, and the first new GD '43 scenario, set in March 1943, using maps 40 and 43.

Larry,

A classical version of the "page not found": Eheu, litteras istas reperire non possum!

Thanks. Like the time-frame of this scenario: always thought that the Kharkov battles would make for an excellent PG boxed game (meeting engagments; attack/counter-attack; and closer AFV parity).

I just accessed it and copied it to Word. I figure with all the pieces I have across the games I can play it anyway.

That's the beauty of a fully matured tactical system. Almost any unit we need for any situation we can imagine is now available. "Specialized" division sets like the Morocains, the GD and the American Armored division now available via gold club is a recognition that just about anything is now available.

Needed....U.S. Army and Marines 1941, Any of the many Chinese armies of 1937-1949, Burmese troops. Vichy troops, Siamese troops Balkan nation troops, and that's about it.

Because Canadians and Greeks are not important?

Greeks may use a Hellenic language, but ethnically they are part of the Slavic wave that drove the Greeks to Sicily in the 9th century.

The PG system carries a systemic prejudice against Canadians...we've got Indian troops, New Zealand troops, Australians by the bucketsful, but no Canadians.

We should have Vichy troops with Army at Dawn. They should be of use for Exporter scenarios and one half of the troops for the Vichy/French war (the only war the Vichy won). Need Thai troops.

Not entirely true. With Cassino we have a smattering of Canadian tank troopers (Shermans and Stuart VIs).

As to the Chinese I expect the Ecuadorans would prove a reasonable facsimile.
No "minor" country left behind...

Now here, I have Daniel's back.

If we can have Boks, Kiwis, Diggers, Gurkhas and trusty Indians, then WHERE are those Canadian boys in their glorious masses :-) LOL

(FOOTNOTE - And I still await beer buddy Belgians !)

For me the Belgians, European Dutch, Norwegians, Greeks, Yugoslavs, Canadians, free French, and Bulgarians are the most important. The war in Europe should be completed...
