RE: Attention 2nd printing Fall of France owners
Back on track, the point to the posting is that with the special counters the French get a free 1 DF point per INF. To me that changes the scenario regardless of the rules set. Looking at the scenario The Iron Line: South this will using the new counters will add 24 DF to the French counter mix.

Surprised there are no INF counters. I just thought these unit specific sets were the same counters but in special colours. Oh well, I've already played the Iron Line South, so they won't be used in that anyway !

I don't have the countersheet in front of me here, is the reduced side of the esc less than the reduced side of the inf from the earlier version? This would account for a smaller unit with more automatic weapons.

ESC's are the same values from before 4-3/2-3

Well old boy I am afraid that result is now null and void as I should have been using ESC counter and therefore increasing my firepower....................light blue touchpaper and retire.

In fact all in all another AP cock up

7 votes, 3.86 average. I can think of many scenarios that would be less fun to replay ...

Loads a fun Daniel, loads of fun. I gave it a 4 at the time and wished I'd given it a 5 but was unable to change it. BUT... and a big but. It was a very very tough brain-sapping scenario. Each session left us drained with the mental effort and I reckon the tension we'd endured.

If I had to recommend a scenario to play to somebody looking for something involved, this would be one of them. One of my favourites ever.

Shall I change it for you?

If you would Shad. Is easily one of the cream top scenarios I've had fun with.

Thanks !
