Nice counters but I kind of wish they were facing the other way (forward) and not rear facing.

Since these are Dave's counters, not mine, I'll purely venture a guess here that the theory is you're the high ranking officer directing the movement of your troops, so this is the view you'd see.

Or, it could be something completely different.

A couple more.  Not a fan of the swastikas, and I suppose they are historically accurate.
