RE: Marianas 44
I shouldn't really share this to the guys who aren't buying the game but one slip up won't hurt.

Guam 1941 conclusion:

The U.S. Marines, U.S. Naval units and the Guam Insular Force Guards put up light resistance before surrendering to over 5900 Japanese troops. The Marines lost 5 killed, 13 wounded, the Navy lost 8 killed and the Guam Insular Force Guards lost 4 killed and 22 wounded, not to mention the loss of 2 patrol boat, 1 minesweeper and 1 freighter. Over 406 U.S. service members were captured. The Japanese losses were light with 1 killed, 6 wounded and one claimed aircraft shot down.
This scenario gives a player a chance to put up a better fight, if anything it’s a novelty scenario to play!

RE: Marianas 44
Victory conditions and objectives on this one are figured based on a stronger resistance by American and Guam forces to the initial Japanese invasion not that that could hold out once all the forces had landed.

I don't see how sharing this bit of information would injure any sales of the game but rather generate more interest in it but thanks for the info nonetheless! Smile

...came for the cardboard, stayed for the camaraderie...

Don't give up on me yet sir! Wink - I suppose that was my attempt of a joke -keep up the good work!

It's great so be able to see the scenario descriptions before having the book in our hot little hands.
