AVP contracted HMS to help with the printing of the 4th edition rules and HMS continues to work with the printer to resolve the paper porosity issues.

The supplement does not include the new rules and thus is not affected by these issues.

Gotta love sub-contracting. Thanks Hugs.

Sub-contracting issues can become Total War. Or maybe not if you paid in advance.

Keep the deposits to a minimum, that keeps them engaged. Monitor their progress so issues don't get out of hand.

From what you wrote this sounds like a quality issue that is going to force a reprint. Hopefully, the printer is on the hook for this.

You would think getting ink onto paper wouldn't be an issue for a printer. Smile

Bad shame I can't get this supplement without stumping up $28 postage !

It'll have to wait until either

a) There are more books available to order in one go.

b) A UK retailer amazingly gets hold of some

c) Some passing touring Yank in London walks past me holding a copy and I cosh him, grab it and make off (whilst innocently whistling a jaunty tune)

You may want to read the Total War = Total Wait thread on BGG or the HMS/GRD Games game company/memory lane folder on Consimworld to understand my trolling here.
