There should not be camels ... nor other exotic animals.
I do not think they were used at all by Ethiopians but I will ask Lorenzo

I read the Elephant Corps article with mild amusement. I noticed a couple of urban legends and a Darwin Award in there. Still my favorite has got to be BBC spaghetti trees. (Microsoft's internet alpine yodeling was good too.)

Otto, Italian zaptie forces (camelry) were commited from Italian Somaliland in the invasion of Ethiopia. The only African native to win the Italian Gold medal of valor was a camelryman.
